Submission Guidelines

1. Reports from Water Treatment Technology: Development and Application of Membrane and Its Process Study; Design and Operation of Water Treatment System; Industrial Pure Water and Ultra-Pure Water Manufacturing; Desalination of Seawater and Brackish Water; Bottled Quality Drinking Water Purification; Industrial Softening Water and Cooling Water Treatment; Water Supply and Drainage from Power Plant; Wastewater Treatment and Reuse; Separation, Concentration and Purification of Liquid; Development and Application of Water Treatment Agents; The Latest Industry and Market at Home and Abroad. The main columns are: Review, Research Report, Application Technology, experience exchange, engineering examples, etc.

2. When submitting papers, please log in to our website (www.scljs1975.com) for registration. After registration, please log in as the author and submit according to the prompts on the page.

3. Submissions must conform to national publishing policies and guidelines and avoid political issues. Please attach the resume of the first author and corresponding author, including name, gender, date of birth, education, title, research direction, telephone and E-mail. Submissions must be original and unpublished, including the key content. There shall not be any plagiarism in the submission. The cited ideas shall clearly indicate the reference information, and the manuscript review results shall be less than 10% of the text copy ratio. The manuscript shall have clear theoretical and technical viewpoints, accurate and reliable data, logical reasoning, substantial content, rigorous structure and concise text. Drawings and tables should be fewer but better. Papers shall be written in Chinese, except for specific nouns. Chinese characters and punctuation shall be standard. Letters and symbols shall be clear and accurate. The unit of measurement shall be legal units promulgated by China, instead of using discarded terms. Papers shall be written in generally no more than 8,000 words.

4. Once paper is adopted, the editorial department shall charge 500 yuan/page as the layout fee.

5. The author is solely responsible for his/her paper, and the Journal will not assume any responsibility for disputes arising from the author's copyright. The Journal has the right to make general changes and technical treatment to the title and content of the manuscript. If large or substantial changes are made to the content of the manuscript, the author is requested to revise and explain accordingly according to the opinions of reviewers or editors. If there is any objection or inconsistent modification, the manuscript will be automatically withdrawn and rejected to publish.

6. The review period is 2 months. If you do not receive any comments from the journal after 2 months, please contact the Journal or handle it yourself (unless otherwise agreed by both parties). Once the article is published, the journal will pay according to the number of words, and present two copies of the Journal of that issue.

7. Water Treatment Technology joined Open Science Identity (OSID) in October 2019 to provide value-added services for readers and authors. Initiated by the Key Laboratory of Publishing Integrated Development (Wuhan) of the National Press and Publication Administration, OSID program is a nonprofit program for academic journals to communicate publicly. OSID program uses QR code as the entrance to provide rich online services, including author's voice introduction to journals, public content and data in research, Q&A between authors and readers, academe and other practical services. Thus, the Journal provides readers and authors with a platform for academic exchanges with industry peers and experts. Each paper has its own OSID code, in which the author could answer the questions related to the author, research background, academic value and other issues using voice notes. The author could also upload supplementary data and materials (by pictures or videos) of papers, in order to present them in a diversified and qualified way. Thus, their pageviews, download and citations will be improved, and the impact of the papers and authors will be expanded as well. 8. Once a paper is published, it will obtain an unique DOI code. DOI is short for Digital Object Identifier, a naming system specially used to identify digital objects, which helps the journal and its published papers to be easy to search.

9. The author shall provide the copyright agreement as required, indicating that he agrees to publish the paper in Water Treatment Technology, and voluntarily transfers the copyright of the paper to the editorial department of Water Treatment Technology on a global scale.
