On April 7-9,2023, The 7th National Summit of Youth Scientists in Membrane Technology (2023), jointly sponsored by the Seawater Desalination and Water Reuse Branch, Chinese Society for Oceanography and the State Key Laboratory of Separation Membrane and Membrane Process jointly built by the Ministry of Tiangong University, and jointly organized by Nanjing Tech University, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shandong University, Tongji University, University of Science and Technology of China, Sichuan University, Zhejiang University,Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Huazhong University of Science and Technology,and other universities and institutions, solely undertaken by the editorial department of Water Treatment Technology,was successfully held in Tianjin.

The conference lasted for two days, with over 1000 membrane technology talents from across the country attending. The summit set up one main venue, seven academic themed sub venues, four doctoral sub venues, and two enterprise sub venues. A total of 226 invitations and oral presentations were arranged, and 167 abstract submissions and 72 wall posters were received. The conference was a complete success.
